Some of us have run a long time whith those valves....But several of us had Problems whith them...leak and burned solenoid ...For mee this product have not it's place on a bus because of the fire risk....

Buy manual ones if your are short in budget...They wont set the bus on fire...
Faites plutot comme je vous dit maintenant que comme j'ai fais avant... Vous y gagnerez en temps et en argent

And why is the place for a car?
Do you know better ones?

What about this ones:
http://www.wvodesigns.com/raw-power-3-p ... valve.html

If not, i put manual ones, but they will be far from the pump so it will
go on sucking the liquid it has for a couple of seconds because of the lenght
of the hose.

thankss

joumpy a écrit:Hi Alma,
Sometimes, the heat exchanger is not on the diesel circuit, but on the engine oil circuit: it is used to cool the engine oil down. Then it is close to the oil filtering element. Have a look this way.
If it is not possible to find such a heat exchanger, do not bother with new ones, build your own.
2 copper tubes Ø10 mm minimum internal 1 m long.
Wrap them with copper wire, heat up and use lead/tin solder.
1 tube for cooling fluid, the other for oil, flows in opposite direction.
Insulation around the assembly and you are good to go.
God bless

My fellow friend,
Valvs and his fittings arriving.
I want to build the exchanger and i know two ways to build them...

This one that you told me, i found where to buy the copper tubes.

And another one y saw in "El Gordos Frintagueros" land rover.
Its a copper 10mm tube all twisted inside a fire extinguisher.
The oil goes trough the copper line and the water goes trough the
fire extinguisher..

Or copper arround exhaust?

Wich one you think is better?!

Hi Alma,
Fire extinguisher will do but it is rather large.
Exhaust exchange can be a problem because the temperature of the exhaust is not under control.

God bless

Hi Alma,
Because of the size, yes!
and therefore a long length of copper tube creating loss of pressure and a large amount of cooling fluid in the extinguisher bottle.
God bless

What about adding a pump before the extinguisher? He told me he has one for the pressure..
I will use your method, but just want to know what you think about adding that pump.

For cars, we use fuel pumps costing about 20€.
For a bus, you need extra flow and the pump price goes up to 100€.
My point of view: only useful to run at low temperatures and/or thick oil mixtures (palm oil especially) with a good bi-carb system.

Hi!

This pump is not meant to run more than 15 minutes. It will overheat. I use one of these for my filtration station and after 30 minutes, it is really very hot and I stop it. Maybe if you add some cooling fins and a fan it might do the job... have a try!
The other problem is that the pump's membrane is made with a kind of plastic which is good with vegetable oil, but will not resist to any fuel or petrol...

:)

This membrane pump ages badly with oil...
Only use it under your direct supervision or you will spill large amounts of oil!
Brand new, this pump costs about 100€ so better buy this:

Btw, what is the difference between the 480543 and the 480534E ? It seems they have the same flow and same pressure! but not the same price...

My fellow friends.

I remember joumpy told me to take the injectors to 200 bar or vegetable oil use.
What about using diesel/gasoil with injectors at 200 bars?

Thanks
good bles
